MP 159™ (UNS R30159)

MP 159 is a multiphase cobalt-nickel-chromium alloy. It is ductile, corrosion resistant, and provides excellence strength when hardened.

Fabrication and Heat Treatment

Cold Working

MP 159™ is ductile and can be cold worked with conventional methods.

Annealing

Anneal at 1177°C (2150°F). Air cool rapidly.

MP 159™ is used in the following applications:
