Titanium Metal Supplier

Titanium Metal Properties

Titanium metal has a silvery-white color with a deep luster. It is light weight, high strength, tough, biocompatible and has good corrosion resistance in extreme environments. Its excellent strength and low density makes it extremely useful in aerospace, medical, military, and industrial applications. Titanium is a chemical element with the symbol Ti on the Periodic Table and an atomic number of 22. Titanium withstands urban pollution, marine environments, sulphur compounds and is resistant to corrosion in aqua regia, chlorine, and sea water. It is often alloyed with other metals to make use of its strength and is commonly used in the form of titanium (iv) oxide, for example in sunscreen.
