Properties
Nickel 200 is an alloy containing >99% pure nickel. It combines toughness and good ductility with high thermal, electrical conductivity, and resistance to corrosive environments particularly caustic alkalis at a wide range of temperatures and concentrations. It is known as a food grade alloy, keeping food healthy and pure because it does not react. Nickel 200 alloy is also used in sodium hydroxide production and handling, especially at temperatures above 300 degrees F and for reactors and vessels.
